Web Page Publishing Regulations
Publishing your own web pages brings with it a modicum
of responsibility. Individuals violating the following rules and regulations
will be given a formal caution, with continued contravention's resulting
in a cancellation of publishing privileges. Personal web pages are
the creation of Memory Lane subscribers, and they are responsible for
their own content.
Please note the following points:
- Content must conform to all provincial and federal legislation dealing
with copyright, obscenity, pornography and hate literature.
- Content of an adult nature is not permitted to be incorporated into
personal pages. This is not because we wish to play the role of censor,
but because such content cannot be adequately secured from viewing
by minors.
- Subscriber homepage components are stored within the subscriber's
ten (10) megabyte storage maximum.
- Content that generates excessive network traffic and/or causes undue
load on our servers will be removed.

Personal Web Space Policy
Effective January 1, 2000
Memory Lane Computers provides 10MB of personal
web space with each Access Account. This allows our customers the
ability to store up to 10MB of personal related information on
the web for friends, relatives, etc to view. The selling of any products
or services is strictly prohibited on these sites. You can find an
on-line application here.
If you wish to use the Internet for this purpose
you must contact Memory Lane Computers to convert your account to a Business
Account.
Another option is to contact the Web Development
team and they will help you set up your own Web
name (www.yourname.com), Web site, and hosting
account. We have different plans to suit your needs.
Memory Lane Computers reserves the right to terminate
personal web pages deemed to be in violation of the above policy.
