Introduction

The K’s Women’s Fastball Team, are currently, a Medicine Hat College, Student Association, Recreation Club Team. The K’s are entering their 3^rd season, in the Alberta Inter-Collegiate Woman’s Fastball Association (AIWFA). In the first 2 years, the team has competed, as a Guest Team. This year, having full “Club Status”, they are a fully recognized Team. Eligible players must be enrolled (or will be), at the Medicine Hat College or MHC Brooks Campus, for the fall semester of 2004.

In 2004, the Alberta Inter-Collegiate Women’s Fastball Association, will consist of 8 teams; Medicine Hat College, University of Lethbridge, Mount Royal College, S.A.I.T., University of Calgary, Red Deer College, N.A.I.T., and University of Alberta.

Team/ Player Commitment

AIWFA Schedule is set. Regular season Games will be Saturdays and some Sundays. Regular season runs from August 28th, to the Championship weekend, October 8^th – 10th. We will have 3 overnight weekends away, 2 (single day) weekends away, and 2 weekends at home, playing 17 regular season games, plus the Championship Tournament weekend. Practice schedule will during the week. Probably 1 night. TBA.
